On the very first day of my Canadian Rockies trip, I left my place on Vancouver Island at 5am in order to catch the earliest ferry to Vancouver and then send it to the Rockies. My plan was to drive all day and hopefully arrive in Yoho before sunset. At first, it seemed pretty easy, but with all the stops we had to make for the dog, food, and gas; the time I originally had slowly began to run out. Thankfully though, I managed to get to Natural Bridge and Emerald Lake just 30 minutes before sunset. And I'm glad that I did, because we got one of the best sunsets from the whole trip while we were here. Well worth the full day of driving.
